    What are your consignment fees?

Grandview Auctions will retain a commission on each lot sold according to the following schedule: Standard Rate: 20% of the final hammer price. High-Value Lots (over $2,000): 15% of the final hammer price. Low-Value Lots (under $200): 25% of the final hammer price. Where do I safely mail my items for consignment?

Please contact us for our consignment shipping address. Thank you.

Do you charge storage fees if items don’t sell?

No. If items don't sell during the first auction attempt, we may be able to list in our next scheduled auction. We can also return your items if you choose.

When and how will I get paid after the auction?

We pay all consignors within 21 days as stated in Oregon state law: "Pay the moneys the auctioneer, auction mart operator or consignee owes to the person within 21 calendar days after the date of the auction or the consignment sale at which the auctioneer, auction mart operator or consignee sold the person’s real or personal property,"

Do you carry insurance in case of loss or damage?

Yes, we do have liability insurance coverage to protect both parties and consignors property.

Do you authenticate or appraise items?

In most situations yes. Grandview Auctions does have a small own in-house appraisal team, and we also work with third-party authentication and appraisal services. There may be a fee for the consignor depending on the situation.
